Hello Everyone! My name is Jakiria and I am a 25 year old woman currently residing in Georgia. I’ve adapted the social pen name of Jaysie since becoming apart of the poetry/writing community for the past 4 years. From a young age, I have always been immersed in poetry and literature. I focus on self growth, nature, with a touch of romanticism as the basis of my work. Writing as a hobby turned into a hobby of mine that became a part of me. My inspirations come from the likes of great poets before me such as Langston Hughes, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath and T.S Eliot. I hope to remain active in the poetry community and continue to write and inspire.
