To drown and still feel loved  with Olivia

Surrounded by trillium in the dark, her smell inviting

me to lie in the gardens of it’s safe now.

to lie in gardens of her, clad in charms of love,

shun and unwavering bliss.

Her scent never left over the white trilliums and red roses,

Our love, like the trillium cradling us,

took years to bloom and open,

and now shines, magnificent, in moonlight.

And like the roses we held,

we bled beauty to get here.

This beauty, born and bathed in the unseen,

saves me with a touch of her.

But here, in this woodland, there is nothing

to prevent the queerness and depth

of our love from being seen.
