Timeless Dreams
Sandboxes filled with the sand of my dreams from a childhood of love and a
circadian rhythm undisturbed by a reality unfit for me I sit here in my dreams,
I sit here in who my mother was, and I sit here in the time my father would pick
me up and spin me around the sand is still half filled, and my passion now is to
just be happy Home. A safe space where laughter grew Surprises popped out of
the blue. The days were slow, the nights were bright And we were told this time
would fly Solitude. The present is a little bitter but also sweet whatever happens
it’s always on the tweet. It’s against the rules to not be so fast every passing
second is now the past. Peace. The future calls our name in gentle rhyme A
photographed untouched by time. It’s always the memories that make us sway
Take all the worries, and the pain away. The past, the present, the future
Intertwined in our souls like a suture Safety. Was no longer a thing but a person,
carried on until my hands caress their skin as my mother caressed mine
